Anesthesia Specialists of Colorado, PLLC, was formed by four highly experienced anesthesiologists who believe in doing things differently. We broke away from the large, traditional group model to build a smaller, more focused practice where patient care and operating room collaboration come first.

We are proud to partner closely with the surgeons and surgical staff at Sky Ridge Medical Center and other local facilities, delivering exceptional and reassuring anesthesia care across a broad spectrum of procedures.

Will I meet my anesthesiologist before surgery?
Yes. You will meet with one of our physicians before your procedure to discuss your medical history, answer questions, and ensure you're comfortable with the anesthesia plan.
Can I choose my anesthesiologist?
Our services are requested directly by your surgeon or surgical facility. While you may not choose your anesthesiologist, rest assured that all of our doctors are highly qualified and dedicated to patient safety.
What should I do to prepare for surgery?
Before Your Procedure

Tell your care team about all medications and supplements you take. They’ll guide you on when to pause them safely.

Stay active with light exercise, like walking.

Eat a balanced diet with lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables.

Drink plenty of water and limit alcohol and caffeine.

Reduce or stop smoking or vaping to lower surgery risks (see smokefree.gov for help).
The Day Before

Follow your surgeon’s instructions about medications, food, and drink.

Avoid alcohol, tobacco, and recreational drugs.

Shower as directed, using any special soap provided.
The Day Of

Follow all eating, drinking, and medication instructions from your care team.

Do not shave near the surgery site or apply lotions, makeup, nail polish, perfume, or hair products.

Remove all jewelry, piercings, contacts, and false eyelashes. Glasses are fine.

You may brush your teeth, but don’t swallow water.
